Senior High Youth Activities

Children and Youth

One of St. John's defining characteristics is our dedication to nurturing new generations in the Christian faith.  We offer opportunities for children of all age groups to learn about, experience and live the good news of Jesus Christ.  Besides the traditional Nursery that provides a safe and loving place for our youngest members, and Church School for pre-kindergarten through senior high, St. John’s also offers a Children’s Eucharist for families with younger children.

During the summer, Vacation Bible School offers a week of excitement and Christian learning.

We round out our program of activities with three Youth Groups, a Youth and Men’s Choir and a Cherub Choir, all guided by energetic adult volunteers.  We even have a growing group of Twenty-Something individuals who gather weekly for Sunday brunch and Bible Study.

In addition to the many programs that we offer for children of our parish, St. John’s also hosts and sponsors the Summer Program for Youth, an eight week summer day camp for at-risk children ages 6-10 years old.
